Apple, Fontina, and Prosciutto Crostini

Ingredients
- 1 baguette, thinly sliced
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- ÂĽÂ lb. fontina, thinly sliced (substitute Havarti)
- 1 apple, thinly sliced (we recommend EverCrisp® or McIntosh
- 1 bunch basil, leaves picked, stems discarded
- ½ lb. prosciutto, thinly sliced
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375Âş F. Drizzle a generous amount of olive oil over slices. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top, then bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden and crisp.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Meanwhile, cut prosciutto slices in half lengthwise.
- Arrange crostini on a platter and top with cheese, a small basil leaf, and a slice of apple. Wrap prosciutto around the whole crostino.
- Drizzle olive oil over top and garnish with basil.
